When Saving Money Is a Bad Thing

We’ve all done it – tried to cut corners to save a little money. But as the saying goes, that which is cheap becomes expensive. This is very true when it comes to home repairs. Take the time to investigate who you are hiring. Are they licensed? If not, the Construction Contractors Board will not help you if a dispute arises.  Are they insured? A simple leak from faulty installment can lead to thousands of dollars of repair bills quickly. How are they going to pay to repair your sheetrock if they couldn’t afford insurance? Saving a couple of bucks on your plumbing repair is never worth it.
