Most people are mindful of the energy they use, but you can also take steps to conserve water as well. The Environmental Protection Agency has a Water Sense program that helps you identify products that can cut down on your water usage. Making the change to more efficient plumbing fixtures such as ultra-low-flow toilets, faucets, and shower heads can save a family hundreds of gallons of water a year. With much of the water we use being heated, using less water means using less energy which will help you save money on your energy bills as an added bonus!
